About SuppBench

SuppBench is an independent supplement comparison and research website.

We built SuppBench around a simple problem: supplement shopping is unnecessarily confusing.

Two products can contain essentially the same active ingredient while differing dramatically in price, serving size, testing, formulation, and marketing claims. Product pages often make those differences difficult to compare.

SuppBench tries to make them clear.

What we do

We collect and standardize product information such as:

  • ingredient quantities
  • serving sizes
  • price per standardized dose
  • formulation
  • third-party certifications
  • Certificates of Analysis where publicly available
  • testing claims
  • manufacturing information
  • convenience and serving requirements

We then use a published methodology to make products easier to compare.

For creatine, for example, we calculate cost per standardized 5g dose rather than relying only on the manufacturer’s stated cost per serving.

Our approach

SuppBench is built around three principles:

Compare like with like

Serving sizes and marketing claims vary between manufacturers. We normalize important product data so comparisons are meaningful.

Separate evidence from marketing

A statement such as “third-party tested” is not treated the same as an independently verifiable certification or publicly available laboratory report.

Show the trade-offs

There is rarely one perfect supplement for everyone.

One product may offer exceptional value while another offers stronger verification or greater convenience.

Our goal is to show those differences clearly so readers can decide what matters most to them.

How SuppBench makes money

SuppBench may eventually earn commissions when readers purchase products through some links on the site.

Affiliate relationships do not affect product scores, rankings, or inclusion.

Products can be recommended even when SuppBench receives no commission from them.

Starting with creatine

Creatine is the first supplement category we’re researching in depth.

Over time, SuppBench may expand into other categories where structured product comparisons can help consumers make better purchasing decisions.
